Paola Ossa is a Colombian writer/director based in Los Angeles and New York. Her work has screened at festivals such as SXSW, Aesthetica, and HollyShorts. Notably, she won the Jury Award at SXSW 26' for Best Music Video, received a DGA award for “Outstanding Directorial Achievement” for her short film “Catalina”, and was a 2022 Sundance Ignite Finalist. Other projects include her short “Remember When,” starring Shakira Barrera from Netflix’s GLOW, and music videos she’s directed for Keke Palmer, Rawayana, and Danna Paola.

Paola’s passionate about telling stories and experimenting with visuals in ways that challenge and engage audiences. With her unique sharp eye for detail, Paola loves to push boundaries while focusing on stories of marginalized communities and exploring the dynamics in relationships we have with those around us.
